Rep. Ben Bumgarner, a Republican representing Texas’s 63rd House district since 2023, has recently shared several statements on his social media account reflecting on political and community events.
On October 9, 2025, Bumgarner recounted his participation in a local political gathering: “Great evening at the Flower Mound Area Republican Club! Mindy sponsored last night’s meeting and spoke powerful truth about our education system, and the LISD forum that followed was both insightful and informative. A big thank you as well to my District Director, Kalon Melton,” he wrote.
Two days later, on October 11, 2025, Bumgarner addressed what he described as fear-based political rhetoric related to government funding: “No, sir. A moral crime is when you use political fear statements such as ‘X’ amount of people will die if the government doesn’t fund dying and bloated ‘Y’ program again. This country is on the Brink of bankruptcy. Your covid playbook isn’t working anymore.”
On October 12, 2025, Bumgarner posted a message encouraging perseverance: “Keep sowing good, even when it’s hard. God sees every act of love.”
Bumgarner succeeded Tan Parker in the Texas State House after being elected in 2023 to represent District 63.
