Two days later, he posted an offer of support to constituents along with a religious message: “The sentiment is the same here. If you need help- reach out to any of us! We are here. Jesus is the truth and the light. Be the next torchbearer. https://t.co/Ek167ci7hG” (September 14).
Later that day, he added a brief greeting: “Happy Sunday y’all! https://t.co/9mcP8FyQku” (September 14).
Bumgarner was elected to represent Texas’s 63rd House district in 2023, succeeding Tan Parker as state representative.
