Congressman Brandon Gill, who won his seat in 2024 by defeating Ernest Lineberger III with 62.1% of the vote, has recently used social media to comment on crime and immigration policies in the United States.

On September 3, 2025, Gill wrote: “No American should fear being murdered, robbed, or raped just walking down the street. Under President Trump’s leadership, Republicans are bringing law and order back to our cities.”

The following day, on September 4, he posted: “Soft-on-crime policies turn our cities into the third world. Since President Trump stepped in, DC carjackings dropped 87% and violent crime is down nearly 50%.”

On September 5, Gill addressed immigration issues: “We’re losing our country. Mass deportations, remigration and strict immigration caps are desperately needed.”

Gill was elected to Congress after winning against Ernest Lineberger III in the general election held in 2024 by a margin of over 26 percentage points.

His recent posts reflect ongoing national debates about public safety and immigration policy during President Trump’s administration.
