Rep. Roger Williams, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently highlighted the contributions of American farmers and the U.S. Navy in a series of posts on his social media account.

On October 12, 2025, Williams expressed appreciation for American farmers, stating, “Farmers don’t ask for much—they just want a fair shot to keep doing what they love. Like one entrepreneur said, you don’t raise prices on the people who grow our food. Today, we thank them for their sacrifice and dedication to feeding our great nation”.

Later that day, Williams outlined legislative efforts to support U.S. agriculture, posting on October 12, 2025: “Here’s a look at steps @HouseGOP and @POTUS have taken to strengthen U.S. agriculture, provide stability, and ensure farmers have the tools they need to thrive. 1. The Working Families Tax Cut has raised statutory reference prices (price guarantees) for major covered”.

On October 13, 2025, Williams recognized the U.S. Navy’s long history of service: “Two and a half centuries of courage and sacrifice. From 1775’s wooden frigates to today’s modern fleet, the U.S. Navy has safeguarded our waters and our nation. Happy 250th Birthday, Navy!”

Williams has represented his district in Congress for over a decade. He has consistently won re-election since 2012, defeating opponents such as Elaine M. Henderson in 2012, Marco Montoya in 2014, Julie Oliver in both 2018 and 2020, Kathi Thomas in 2016, and Chad Hagg in 2024. In his most recent election in 2024, he won by a wide margin over Chad Hagg with 99.4% of the vote.
