Rep. Roger Williams, Chairman of the House Small Business Committee and U.S. Congressman, has used his social media platform to highlight his ongoing support for small businesses and remind constituents of upcoming opportunities.
On April 7, 2026, Williams stated, “As Chairman of @HouseSmallBiz, I have seen the positive impact the Working Families Tax Cuts have had on small businesses. As your Congressman, I will continue supporting policies like these that create opportunity for Main Street, not Wall Street.”
Later that day, he posted a reminder about an approaching deadline: “REMINDER: The 2026 Congressional Art Competition deadline is tomorrow at 5:00 PM CT!” (April 7, 2026).
On April 8, 2026, Williams addressed policy issues affecting business owners: “For too long, America Last policies have put small businesses at a disadvantage. @HouseGOP is continuing to fight alongside @POTUS to ensure hardworking families and small business owners can achieve the American Dream.”
Williams has maintained a consistent presence in Congress since first winning election in 2012. He has won multiple general elections by significant margins over various opponents across several cycles—defeating Elaine M. Henderson in 2012 with nearly sixty percent of the vote; Marco Montoya in 2014; Kathi Thomas in 2016; Julie Oliver in both 2018 and 2020; and Chad Hagg most recently in the general election held in 2024.
