Senator Tan Parker, a Republican representing Texas’s 12th Senate district since 2023, has recently shared updates on his activities and views regarding technology, economic growth, and legislative efforts in Texas through a series of posts on social media.
On January 15, 2026, Parker highlighted his participation in an industry event focused on artificial intelligence and investment strategies. He wrote: “Great discussion today at the Fort Worth Club on AI infrastructure and capital strategy—where intelligent systems are reshaping public and private markets. I was glad to join industry leaders to talk through how Texas is modernizing capital environments with innovation,”.
The following day, Parker emphasized the state’s ongoing economic momentum by stating: “Texas just keeps on winning, and Dallas is leading the charge!” (January 16, 2026).
Later that same day, he addressed progress related to @Treys_Law, legislation aimed at supporting survivors. In his post he said: “Grateful to see @Treys_Law momentum continue to grow! I was honored to help lead this fight in Texas, and it’s encouraging to see leaders like Gov. @BrianKempGA advancing protections that put survivors first. What starts in Texas is helping change lives nationwide! #txlege” (January 16, 2026).
Parker succeeded Angela Paxton as state senator for District 12 after being elected in 2023.
