Movies That Matter is set to showcase the film "The Grab" at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth on Thursday, April 3. The event will begin at 7 p.m., and admission is free for all attendees. Reservations can be made online.

"The Grab," released in 2022, runs for 104 minutes and is unrated. The documentary explores how governments, private investors, and mercenaries are covertly taking control of essential food and water resources. The film suggests that these entities could form a new version of OPEC, with global power shifting to those who dominate food supply. As food prices escalate worldwide, the film raises concerns about potential chaos and violence.

Movies That Matter is a bi-monthly program organized by the City of Fort Worth’s Human Relations Commission. It aims to promote awareness of critical human and civil rights issues through film screenings. Each event includes a moderated discussion with special guests. The series presents films every February, April, June, August, October, and December.
