Residents of Pantego will be receiving a $30 gift card in the mail for a new program from the Pantego Economic Development Corp.
The gift card, which will arrive with an explanation letter of the program and participating businesses, will be valid through Aug. 25, according to the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce. It cannot be traded for cash or be replaced if lost.
As many small businesses are struggling due to the COIVD-19 pandemic, the program will help give these companies businesses by encouraging people to go out and spend money at these businesses.
Any business that redeems a gift card will be reimbursed through Sept. 25 at the Town Municipal Offices.
