Enrollment for the 2024 class of the Beck School of Construction in Fort Worth is now open. The Beck School of Construction is a partnership between the City of Fort Worth and The Beck Group, an integrated architecture and construction firm. Its aim is to provide comprehensive training sessions to help small firms increase their industry knowledge, grow their expertise, and become more competitive in bidding on construction projects.

The program has seen success in its inaugural class, with nine students completing the nine-month-long program in October. Scot Bennett, the regional director of The Beck Group's Fort Worth office, expressed his pride in the graduates: "We're incredibly proud to celebrate another year of partnership with the City of Fort Worth. Together, we applaud the nine participants graduating from the program. They diligently attended our classes and engaged with our speakers and showed remarkable commitment. It’s an honor to help them grow their businesses now and into the future."

The Beck School of Construction is now in its fifth year and is specifically designed to assist Business Equity Firms, certified minority- and women-owned businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The program aims to provide the necessary skills and knowledge to these businesses, enabling them to thrive in the construction industry.
