After a decade of dedicated service, Henry has hung up his harness and has retired. Henry, a Labrador-mix, is a former shelter pet. He was found wandering the streets of Fort Worth, alone, hungry and extremely sick. Living on the streets nearly took its toll on the young dog.

In a heartfelt tribute, a spokesperson for the City of Fort Worth stated, "Henry has spent the last decade raising awareness of shelter programs, promoting higher live release rates, helping to raise $1 million for the Medical Treatment Ward and $3.8 million for additional welfare programs."

Throughout his service, Henry has visited thousands of school children to promote responsible pet ownership. His impact on the community has been significant, as indicated by the funds raised and the educational outreach he has provided.

To learn more about Henry's remarkable journey and service to Fort Worth, a video has been made available for viewing.

Henry's dedication and passion for helping others, despite his challenging beginnings, serve as an inspiration to all. As he embarks on a well-deserved retirement, his legacy as a beloved City spokespup will long be remembered and cherished.
