Music fans in Fort Worth are in for a treat this April as free, live jazz concerts will be held at three Fort Worth Public Library locations to celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month. The concerts will feature Myles Tate and the Soul Revival, promising a smooth soundtrack for a fun and relaxing time with friends and family.

Myles Tate III, the talent behind the Soul Revival, is described as a pianist, composer/arranger, artist, producer, and teacher with roots in Gospel, R&B, Blues, and Soul. Having made his mark on the Chicago music scene at a young age, Tate is currently a middle- and high-school band director who instills excellence in his students.

The initiative to celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month dates back to 2001 when it was created by the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. April was specifically chosen for this celebration as it marks the birth month of the late jazz legend Edward Kennedy “Duke” Ellington, born on April 29, 1899.

These events offer a unique opportunity for music enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the rich and vibrant world of jazz while enjoying the company of loved ones. Don't miss out on the chance to experience the magic of live jazz performances at your local library this April.
