The City of Fort Worth City Council has authorized the City to donate excess personal protective equipment and hand sanitizer (PPE) to local organizations and nonprofits. This initiative, which began in June 2023 and concluded in January 2024, has now been expanded to accommodate more entities in need of PPE.

"Because the City still has excess PPE available, the City is now adding additional phases, which include a broader scope of entities that are eligible to receive the PPE."

With an abundance of masks and hand sanitizers still on hand, interested organizations are encouraged to participate in the PPE Donation Program.

"There are plenty of masks and hand sanitizers left."

Entities wishing to request PPE can do so by submitting their orders through the provided online form or via email.

"Interested entities should submit their PPE order using the online form or by emailing the form to the email address below."

The City aims to fulfill all requests to the best of its ability, prioritizing submissions on a first-come, first-served basis.

"The City will do its best to ensure that all requests are at least partially filled, but orders will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis."

Forms for PPE orders must be submitted by March 25, 2024. Should there be surplus PPE after this phase, the City will announce details regarding further donation opportunities.

"Forms must be submitted by March 25, 2024."

"In the event excess PPE remains after the completion of this phase of donations, the City will provide more information about another phase of the program."

Once orders are received, the City will coordinate with organizations to schedule pickups during the week of April 1, 2024, at designated locations.

"Once forms are received, the City will contact organizations to schedule a pickup time during the week of April 1, 2024."

For inquiries or assistance, individuals can reach out to Julie Robles.
