On Wednesday, Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25) introduced the No Student Loan Forgiveness for Antisemitic Criminals Act in Washington, D.C. This legislation proposes to deny student loan forgiveness through federal income-driven repayment programs to any student arrested for engaging in antisemitic activities within the United States.

"College campuses, once centers of learning, have become breeding grounds for the radical left," said Congressman Williams. "Jewish and Israeli students are unable to attend class or even walk through campus without the threat of violence or hate-fueled rhetoric. If the woke university leadership will not hold these violent protestors accountable, House Republicans will."

Over the past few weeks, more than 2,000 arrests have been made at campus protests across the country. The proposed bill would require the Secretary of Education to establish procedures to identify students who have been arrested for engaging in antisemitic activities.

Congressman Roger Williams serves as Chairman of the House Small Business Committee and is a member of the House Financial Services Committee. He represents Texas's 25th Congressional District.
