Movies That Matter-Latino will screen "Vicuña Salvation" at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, at Rose Marine Theater, located at 1440 N. Main St., home of Artes de la Rosa Fort Worth Cultural Center.

The film tells the conservation story of a species that produces the finest and most expensive fiber in the world and highlights the empowerment of an indigenous community living 15,000 feet above sea level in the Peruvian mountains.

Admission to the event is free, and a panel discussion will follow the screening. Interested attendees are encouraged to register online.

Movies That Matter-Latino is a quarterly film series celebrating Latino cultural diversity with screenings held in March, June, September, and December. The series is made possible through collaboration between the City of Fort Worth Human Relations Commission and Artes de la Rosa.
