Enrollment Analysis: Hispanic students comprised 45.6% of Birdville ISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 10,322 Hispanic students enrolled in Birdville ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.7% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Birdville ISD schools welcomed 22,637 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 45.6% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Birdville ISD roughly covers schools within Tarrant County and has a main office in Haltom City.

Among the 32 schools in Birdville ISD schools, Haltom High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 1,685 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
