Construction is set to begin on the Baker Martin Family Garden at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, marking a significant step in its 20-year Master Plan. This new addition is designed to foster family interaction and connection with nature, spanning two acres. It is scheduled to open in fall 2026.

Terra Design Studios, which has developed over 25 family gardens across 12 states, is responsible for this project. The design will align with the Fort Worth Botanic Garden's goal of creating sustainable and engaging natural spaces.

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden combines resources from the Botanical Research Institute of Texas and the City of Fort Worth. This collaboration enhances fundraising, education, research capabilities, and maintains historically significant grounds.

The expansion aims to strengthen the garden's position as a leading public garden in America by offering an environment that encourages enjoyment across generations.
