The City of Fort Worth Human Resources Department has announced the opening of applications for the 2025 NextGen Ambassador Program. This initiative is an eight-week program scheduled to run from June 2 to July 25, providing paid employment opportunities for youth aged 17 to 22. Participants can work up to 20 hours per week.

The program aims to introduce young individuals to potential careers in local government, offering them a chance to engage in learning experiences that enhance their skills and understanding of public sector operations, specifically within the City of Fort Worth.

In addition to employment, the program includes weekly sessions focused on professional development and skill building. These sessions cover various topics designed to prepare participants for careers in local government or related fields.

Applications for the program can be submitted online until Monday, April 7. For more information about the program, inquiries can be made via email.
