Fort Worth is set to celebrate the opening of its new Council Chamber on March 25. The event will feature the first official Council meeting at 10 a.m., followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by City leadership and key stakeholders.

The City purchased the former Pier 1 Imports headquarters in January 2021, located at 100 Fort Worth Trail. This move aimed to consolidate services into a modern facility with room for growth. Since August 2024, residents have been able to access various city services at New City Hall, including development-related services and water bill payments.

With the opening of the new Council Chamber, all city services previously housed in the old City Hall are now relocated to New City Hall.
