On Sunday, March 23, former Birdville High School standout Gehrig Normand’s current collegiate team the Michigan State Spartans won 71-63 against the New Mexico Lobos in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Rocket Arena, this was the first game against the New Mexico Lobos during the championship.

Gehrig Normand’s hometown is North Richland Hills and game position is guard.
