Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker has declared the formation of new City Council committees. These committees will address a variety of issues like infrastructure, public safety, and legislative matters.
The committees will work within the framework of Assistant City Manager portfolios. Their primary role will be to provide feedback and direction on projects and challenges affecting the City. Furthermore, they will serve as a platform for collaboration with subject matter experts and community members on diverse topics.
"We are fortunate to have councilmembers who are eager to lend their experience and expertise to advise our City management team on the work that matters most to Fort Worth residents," said Parker.
The committee meetings are scheduled to start in April.
