The Fort Worth Police Officers’ Association will host the 18th annual Police Memorial Ceremony on May 7. The event aims to honor fallen officers and recognizes their sacrifices in service to the community. Residents are encouraged to join in paying tribute to these officers and showing support to their families.
Organizers of the memorial emphasize the importance of remembering the officers, noting, "Fort Worth’s fallen families need to know that their loved ones are never forgotten, and their sacrifice was not in vain." They stress the event as a moment to acknowledge the dignity and respect represented by first responders.
The ceremony will take place at the Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial, located at 2201 W. Seventh St., beginning at 7 p.m.
