The City of Arlington will begin improvements to the City water distribution system in parts of Plainview Drive, Mapleview Drive, and Twin Maple Court in Southeast Arlington in early June.  A public meeting to share information about this project will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Arlington Water Utilities South Service Center at 1100 SW Green Oaks Blvd.

The project includes the replacement of public drinking water mains, as well as new water meter boxes and service lines for addresses connected to the new main. Arlington Water Utilities in-house construction crews will begin working in the areas included in the project during the week of June 5-9. The work has an anticipated completion date of Sept. 22, 2023. Temporary water lines will be installed during the work and will significantly reduce the need for water service interruptions. Questions about the upcoming project? If you are unable to attend the May 24 meeting, please email questions to waterconstruction@arlingtontx.gov or call 817-459-5900 to request more information.
