Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne (TX-24), a member of the House Committee on Ways and Means, issued the following statement on the release of IRS whistleblower information today:

“Today, House Ways and Means Committee Republicans voted to release transcripts of two whistleblower interviews conducted earlier this year.  These transcripts (available here and here) include damning and detailed information about how the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorneys, the FBI, the IRS, and career bureaucrats obstructed, delayed, and prevented a full and expeditious investigation of Hunter Biden’s tax crimes.

We have publicly released these documents so the American people can read the information for themselves.  It is clear to me that a corrupt and utterly politicized Department of Justice acted more like political henchmen for the Biden family rather than serving the American people as non-partisan law enforcement officials.

A reckoning is coming for the DoJ, the FBI, the IRS, and all those who continue to abuse their roles to weaponize these agencies against the American people while serving as the Praetorian guard for a privileged, wealthy, liberal class in our country.

 This is far from over.”
