Dog of the Week – Meet Delilah

This five-and-a-half-year-old female Alaskan Husky mix is brown and white in color and weighs 39 pounds. No sibling rivalry here—Delilah and her sibling (also featured this week) were found abandoned in the dog park over a month and a half ago. Initially, she was nervous, cautious and almost hairless due to a skin issue. With appropriate care, she now has a clean bill of health and is ready to take on her next challenge. She also appears to be more courageous and is more curious and outgoing than her sister. Eager to be up in your business, she is excited to find out everything you have going on and wants to be involved. Due to the length of time Delilah has spent in the shelter, she is considered a VIP pet with a reduced adoption fee. Meet Delilah at Dog Adoptions (DA) 27, her ID number is A52729907.

Second Dog of the Week – Meet Leilani

This five-and-a-half-year-old female Alaskan husky mix is black and white in color and weighs 38 pounds. Like her sister, Leilani has also successfully met the challenge of overcoming her near hairless condition and is ready to be adopted. Of the two, she is more submissive than her sibling and lets you come to her. She will position herself behind your legs and wait for attention. Still needing a little work on leash walking, she gets the concept but tends to get distracted by things going on around her. Leilani also has VIP status like her sister equating to a reduced adoption fee. While it would be wonderful if both of these dogs were adopted together, the main goal is to get them adopted! Meet Leilani at Dog Adoptions (DA) 27, her ID number is A52730007.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
