Save the date for Downtown Arlington Texas' Letters to Santa event on Friday, Dec. 1 at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library! The post master from Arlington's Downtown Post Office will dress up as Santa and librarians from the Arlington Public Library's George W. Hawkes Downtown Library will dress up as elves to help kids write letters to Santa.
A Christmas Carol: The Radio Show

Theatre Arlington presents A Christmas Carol: The Radio Show starting Friday, Dec. 1, 2023. It’s Christmas Eve, and with the actors snowed in and unable to make it to the studios of WXMS for the live radio performance of A Christmas Carol, the sound effects person decides to take the audience through the classic tale himself. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays; then 2:00 p.m. Sundays. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, showtime is 2:00 p.m. due to the Arlington Holiday Lights Parade. Holiday Lights Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony

Are you ready to kick off the holiday festivities with one of Arlington’s biggest celebrations! The Holiday Lights Parade and Tree Lighting in Downtown Arlington will be Saturday, Dec.9. All the fun starts at 2 p.m., at the Arlington Public Library's George W. Hawkes Downtown Library with Reindeer Games and pictures with Santa. There will also be pre-parade entertainment at Founders Plaza before the Holiday Lights Parade kicks off at 6 p.m., followed by the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 7 p.m. After the ceremony, enjoy live music and another opportunity to take pictures with Santa at Levitt Pavilion Arlington.

Seniors, join in on the holiday fun at East Library and Recreation Center by having breakfast with us in your favorite PJs! We will serve pancakes, orange juice, and play festive games together from 9:30 - 11 a.m. We will also have the opportunity to donate pajamas to those who are less fortunate through the Pajamas For Seniors organization. Interlochen Lights

The Lights at Interlochen, one of the largest and longest running holiday traditions in North Texas, is back for the 2023 season. Each year, more than 200 homeowners in this northwest Arlington neighborhood celebrate the season by decorating their homes with festive lights and holiday-themed displays. Admission is free. The public is invited to drive through the neighborhood from 6 to 11 p.m. each night.
Cookies with the Clauses

The Clauses are in town and they’re visiting East Library and Recreation Center on December 16 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Everyone is invited to come decorate cookies, play festive games, and make some holiday crafts with Mr. and Mrs. Claus at this special holiday event.
