The construction will take place from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. On weekends, all lanes will be open. The project is expected to last for approximately seven days on West Seventh Street and 30 days on Foch Street.
The need for this project stems from the approval of two mixed-use developments in October 2023. These developments, totaling 740,000 square feet, are situated at the northwest corner of West Seventh and Foch Streets, as well as the northeast corner of University Drive and Bledsoe Street. Goldenrod Services LLC, a national real estate development company, will be overseeing the completion of these projects. They have a track record of successful mixed-use projects and public-private partnerships. The development will include new office and retail spaces, a hotel, parking garages, and multi-family units. The city of Fort Worth is working diligently to minimize any inconveniences caused by the road closures. Updates and additional information can be found on the city's website.
This sewer utility project marks a significant step forward in the development of West Seventh and Foch Streets. Once completed, the area will be transformed into a vibrant and thriving hub for businesses and residents alike.
