On Wednesday, Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25) announced Ariani Curran of Kennedale High School as the 2024 Congressional Art Competition Winner for TX-25. The annual competition invites students from across the country to vie for an opportunity to have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. This fall, Ariani's artwork titled “Clouds Over the Brave” will be showcased.

"I am proud to have Ariani's artwork represent Texas' 25th District in the U.S. Capitol for all members of Congress, visitors, and staff to see. Her piece truly captures our nation’s patriotic spirit," said Congressman Williams. He expressed his admiration for the talent exhibited by young artists in this year's competition and voiced his confidence in their bright and creative futures.

Artworks that secured second and third places will be displayed in Congressman Williams’ district offices. The second place was awarded to “Construction” by Gianna Demetres from Godley High School, while “Texas with a Splash of Color” by Jolie Hutton from Cross Plains High School claimed third place.

Congressman Roger Williams serves as the Chairman of the House Small Business Committee and is a member of the House Financial Services Committee. He represents the 25th Congressional District of Texas with pride.
