The City of Fort Worth Fire Station Community Center received a reservation request for Saturday, June 8, 2024. This reservation application was filed by an individual for an event titled “Protecting Kids” and is subsequently being publicly promoted as hosted by Latinos United for Conservative Action.

A prior facility reservation submitted by this organization was canceled due to having an incomplete application, concern regarding compliance with Park & Recreation Department Community Center Policies and Operating Procedures, as well as consideration for safety and security. City staff have further reviewed the facility rental policy and the renter submitted a complete application and acknowledged that they will follow the City’s policy. The application has been approved.

By accepting facility rental reservations, the City of Fort Worth does not condone or endorse the content of facility rentals. The City is reviewing all facility rental policies thoroughly and will update the community on any relevant changes to those policies.
