The second annual Fort Worth Public Library College Fair, hosted by La Gran Biblioteca, will take place on Saturday, September 21, from 1-3 p.m. at the main stage at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth, located at 4200 South Freeway.

Staff from universities, community colleges, and trade schools will be available to provide information about admissions, financial aid, programs, and clubs for traditional, nontraditional, and transfer students.

Attendees can also learn about the Fort Worth Public Library Foundation’s LaunchPad program. This initiative offers free mentoring for Fort Worth high school students to assist them with the college application process. The program covers various aspects including writing college essays and applying for scholarships. An informational session about LaunchPad is scheduled for Wednesday, September 25 at 5:30 p.m., at the Golden Triangle Branch Library.
