Following a thorough legal review of rental policies to ensure alignment with the First Amendment, the City staff will begin accepting facility rental applications for use of City community centers and libraries starting October 1, 2024.
This administrative policy review reaffirms a commitment to free speech while preserving a welcoming environment. The acceptance of a facility rental reservation does not imply an endorsement of the content or purpose of events held within these facilities.
