Fort Worth announces fall festivals throughout October

As the air cools and leaves change, Fort Worth is preparing for a season of community events. Throughout October, various community centers will host fall festivals with activities for families, kids, and individuals of all ages.

The Fall Festival at Evans Plaza on October 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will offer games, food, and community fun. The Trunk or Treat event at Atatiana Carr-Jefferson Community Center at Hillside on October 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. will feature hayrides and bounce houses.

An Adapted Fall Festival at Hulen Mall on October 19 from noon to 4 p.m., in partnership with Hulen Mall, is designed for individuals with special needs. It includes face painting, games, and candy.

Greenbriar Gymnasium's Fall Festival on October 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. will have games, food, door prizes, and a dance party. Boo Fest at Riverside Community Center on October 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. promises a haunted house and costume contest.

Andrew Doc Session Community Center will hold its Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat on October 25 from 6 to 8 p.m., featuring family-friendly activities. Thomas Place Community Center’s festival is scheduled for the same day from 7 to 8:30 p.m., offering games and food.

Handley Meadowbrook Community Center's festival also takes place on October 25 from 6 to 8 p.m., including games and trunk-or-treating. Southwest Community Center’s event on the same day from 6 to 8 p.m. will feature trick-or-treating and hayrides.

Fire Station Community Center hosts a Fall Festival and Skate Night on October 26 from 5 to 8 p.m., which includes carnival games and entertainment. Victory Forest Community Center's Boo Block Party occurs that day as well from noon to 2 p.m., offering seasonal activities for all ages.

Northside Community Center celebrates Halloween with a Fall Festival on October 31 from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring face painting and bounce houses. Highland Hills Community Center’s Trunk or Treat happens that evening too from 6 to 8 p.m., providing a candy drive-thru experience.

R.D. Evans Community Center rounds out the month with its festival on October 31 from 6 to 8 p.m., including food trucks, games, and plenty of candy.
