The City of Fort Worth Office of Veterans Affairs has introduced a new online resource page aimed at supporting veterans, service members, and their families. The "Resources for Veterans" webpage is now accessible at FortWorthTexas.gov/Veterans.

The newly launched site provides connections to numerous local nonprofits and government organizations that operate in key areas to support the veteran community. This initiative follows the city's recent creation of its first-ever veterans’ affairs officer position, dedicated to advocating for the wellbeing and success of Fort Worth's military members.

“Fort Worth is committed to serving and supporting the brave men and women who have served our country,” said Veterans Affairs Officer Joaquin Castillo. “We want our veterans to know that we are here to help them find and utilize the resources they need to live a high quality of life in our community.”

Veterans, service members, and their families are encouraged to contact Veterans@FortWorthTexas.gov for assistance with navigating local resources.
