Most city services have now transitioned from the old City Hall at 200 Texas St. to the new City Hall, formerly the Pier One headquarters, located at 100 Fort Worth Trail. This move aims to improve residents' access to essential services, though some departments will continue relocating in the coming months as renovations progress.

While many services are operational at the new location, ongoing renovations mean several floors are not yet complete. Additionally, significant upgrades are underway for the new City Hall's lighting system. The rooftop lights will remain off or in testing phases for several months as construction crews work on enhancing the system's capabilities and efficiency. During this period, special-event lighting requests cannot be accommodated.

The upgraded lighting system is expected to be installed by Christmas. "We appreciate the community’s understanding as we work to enhance this important feature of the new City Hall," a statement noted. Residents can watch City News for updates once the improved system is operational or ready.
