FWTV Channel 190 has resumed broadcasting after a break, now offering high-definition quality. This marks the first time in the channel's history that it is transmitting in 1080 progressive scan instead of the previous 720 progressive scan. The upgrade aims to provide Fort Worth residents with clearer and higher-quality broadcasts about city matters.

Cameron Gorman, Video Creative Services Manager, stated, "This is a great milestone for the City of Fort Worth and FWTV as we continue to enhance and integrate new technology into our services for the community."

Channel 191, which serves as the Fort Worth Public Library channel, is also set to receive this upgrade but will be temporarily offline for maintenance during the process.
