The City of Fort Worth has appointed Aubry Insco as the new 911 Communications Administrator, a newly created position aimed at enhancing the city's emergency communication services. Insco brings over 25 years of experience in 911 and emergency communications to her role.

Previously, Insco served as the emergency communications manager for Grand Prairie, where she led a team dedicated to providing efficient public safety services. Her efforts included implementing innovative technologies and strategies that improved public safety outcomes.

In addition to her past role, Insco chairs the Tarrant County 911 Emergency Assistance District Board of Managers. She is involved in legislative initiatives focused on securing sustainable funding for resilient 911 systems across the nation.

Assistant City Manager Valerie Washington expressed enthusiasm about Insco's appointment: “We are excited to welcome Aubry as the first 911 communications administrator.” Washington highlighted Insco's leadership as essential during Fort Worth's transition of its EMS system and efforts to streamline communications and dispatch functions.

Insco's expertise is expected to contribute significantly to building a reliable and resilient 911 system for Fort Worth.
