Get ready for some Trails & Treats on Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge, located at 9601 Fossil Ridge Road. Organized by Fort Worth Water and Texas Water, the day promises a variety of fall festivities.
Participants can enjoy activities such as canoeing, cryptozoology talks, hayrides, and guided hikes. A key feature of the event is the Curtis Smalley Environmental Event. This initiative aims to bring together individuals and organizations dedicated to water conservation in Fort Worth. It seeks to inspire and educate those passionate about protecting essential water resources.
Volunteers from the City of Fort Worth and the Tarrant Regional Water District will lead riparian conservation activities in the morning. These activities promise a mix of hands-on fun with a touch of spooky fall atmosphere. Attendees can also look forward to costumes, giveaways, and more.
Advance tickets are available at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge or by calling 817-392-7410. Regular admission fees apply, with potential additional charges for certain activities.
