Parents seeking a safe environment for their children during the Thanksgiving school break can consider the Thanksgiving Break Camp organized by local community centers. The camp will run from November 25 to 27, accommodating children aged 5 to 13, with operating hours from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parents have the option to register their children for specific days.

The camp promises a range of recreational, educational, and cultural activities aimed at providing enjoyable and memorable experiences for the participants. It is recommended that parents send a lunch with their child each day.

The preregistration fee is set at $15 per day if completed before the camp starts. Once it begins, the cost increases to $20 per day. Discounts are available for those who qualify. Registration must be completed in advance and payments can be made via credit card or electronic check.

Thanksgiving Break Camp will be held at multiple community centers including Andrew Doc Session, Chisholm Trail, Como, Diamond Hill, Eugene McCray, Fire Station, Greenbriar, Handley Meadowbrook, Highland Hills, ACJCC@Hillside, Martin Luther King, North Tri Ethnic, Northside, R.D. Evans, Riverside, Southside, Southwest, Thomas Place, Victory Forest and Worth Heights.

For more information about the camp or registration details, interested individuals should contact their local community center.
