France-based Fonroche Lighting has inaugurated its new U.S. headquarters in Fort Worth, marking a significant expansion in the American market. The company, known for its solar-powered lighting solutions, has moved into a 20,088-square-foot facility at the Campus Industrial Park.

The building was developed by Empire Holdings, a Fort Worth-based company with over four decades of experience in industrial and commercial property development. A ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 22 celebrated the opening, attended by Mayor Pro Tem Gyna Bivens and representatives from local business organizations.

Founded in Agen, France, in 2011, Fonroche Lighting has expanded globally to more than 50 countries. It entered the U.S. market in 2019 with its headquarters initially based in Boston before relocating to Fort Worth in 2023 after evaluating various sites across the country.

The new facility offers advanced features tailored for Fonroche's engineering and production needs, including modern office spaces and high-efficiency storage areas. Its strategic location near major transport routes enhances logistical operations for servicing customers nationwide.

Bowie Holland, president of Empire Holdings, highlighted the company's commitment to creating spaces that drive tenant success: “Fonroche’s presence at Campus Industrial Park is a testament to what we strive to achieve in all of our developments — pairing cutting-edge technologies with exceptional design.”

Hocine Benaoum, head of Fonroche Lighting USA, emphasized the significance of this expansion: “Our new U.S. headquarters represents more than just office and warehouse space — it signals our company’s long-term commitment to the U.S. market.”

Fonroche's innovative lighting solutions aim to disrupt traditional streetlighting by eliminating grid connections and reducing carbon emissions significantly. The company's products are installed across more than 1,000 municipalities in 43 states.

Empire Holdings also noted that their industrial park can support diverse industries with available spaces ready for occupancy.
