Dog of the Week – Meet Schotzie

This four-year, two-months old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is brown and white in color and weighs 49 pounds. This week we have a fun-loving dog being featured (but really aren't most of the dogs fun loving?). He loves to play with toys and is especially fond of playing with toys when accompanied by human friends. Walking well on the leash has been successful, but he is still working on the command of "sit". Perhaps he is taking his time to learn "sit" as a ploy to get more treats—we think he knows more than he is letting on. Schotzie would probably do well with a family willing to spend productive playtime with him. He has been in the shelter for over two months, so he has attained VIP status. Adopting Schotzie would be a great outcome for him, and it can be done with a reduced adoption fee. Meet Schotzie at Dog Adoptions (DA) 24, his ID number is A52374012.

Second Dog of the Week – Meet Bray

This one-year, one-and-a-half-months old male Labrador Retriever mix is black and white in color and weighs 41 pounds. This dog seems to "tick" all the boxes—loves treats and affection, knows "sit" to gain a reward and loves getting out and running in the play yard. Visiting with volunteer friends that come to visit is very special to him. After having spent more than 40 days (and 40 nights) in the shelter, Bray has attained VIP status meaning he can be adopted at a reduced fee. He appears to be a very smart dog and is ready to show off his "smarts" with a new pet guardian. Meet Bray at Dog Adoptions (DA) 27, his ID number is A52511804.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
