Fort Worth Animal Care & Control is preparing for the annual P.A.W.S.giving Day, a tradition that coincides with Thanksgiving to support local shelter animals. The event is made possible through the efforts of donors and volunteers who aim to bring holiday cheer to pets in shelters.
Volunteers are invited to participate by preparing meals and delivering supplies. "By participating in P.A.W.S.giving Day — whether through donations, volunteering or spreading the word — volunteers and donors brighten the lives of shelter pets and make their stay a little more joyful," organizers stated.
Contributions such as canned goods or volunteer work are appreciated and essential for the event's success.
