Dog of the Week – Meet Shakespeare

This eight-and-a-half-year-old male Boxer/Retriever mix is tan and white in color and weighs 47 pounds. Of course, we have to state the obvious, "To be or not to be... ADOPTED, that is the question"! Our volunteers and staff people are all in agreement that YES, he is the one to adopt. Having been in the shelter for over 30 days, this gentle senior pooch is ready to find his "furever" home and be rewarded with snuggles and lots of love. Weighing in at under 50 pounds, he would fit great in any home, car and even your heart. Due to the length of time that Shakespeare has been in the shelter, he has achieved VIP status and is available for a reduced adoption fee. Other Shakespeare maxims we could quote here are, "Nothing will come of nothing" (if you don't adopt) and "Don't waste your love on somebody who doesn't value it". Adopting Shakespeare will certainly be the "somebody" who will value your love. Meet Shakespeare at Dog Adoptions (DA) 11, his ID number is A34602854.

Second Dog of the Week – Meet Rebo

This six-month-old male Australian Kelpie mix is brindle and white in color and weighs 18 pounds. It was originally planned to call this dog Reba, until we determined it was a male. Even though he was taken out of a car, the name Repo didn't seem appropriate, so we went with Rebo. Being just six months old Rebo has some growing left to do and a lot to learn. Having a young mind, he should be eager to gain knowledge through some structured training giving him an opportunity to learn a lot. Learning the "ropes" in an adoptive home and becoming part of the family would be the lucky chance that Rebo is waiting for. Having been in the shelter for over a month, this is another deserving dog that has achieved VIP status. Meet Rebo in Dog Adoptions (DA) 7, his ID number is A55165735.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
