Most City offices, including City Hall, will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, for the Juneteenth holiday. Emergency services will remain available.
Solid waste services will not experience any changes in residential collections (garbage, recycling, yard waste, and bulk waste) on June 19. However, the City’s four Drop-Off Stations and Environmental Collection Center will be closed to the public that day. For inquiries or assistance, residents can call 817-392-1234.
The Fort Worth Animal Shelter’s South Campus and North Campus will also be closed to the public on June 19. PetSmart adoption locations at Alliance and Hulen will remain open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Recreational facilities such as all community centers, Haws Athletic Center, Fort Worth @6, and Log Cabin Village will be closed. Conversely, Rockwood Park and Pecan Valley golf courses, McLeland Tennis Center, swimming pools, and Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge will be open.
For water-related services or emergencies, residents can access the Water Department’s automated system by calling the 24-hour call center at 817-392-4477.
Trinity Metro will operate modified services on June 19. Trinity Metro buses and ACCESS paratransit will follow Sunday schedules. TEXRail, Trinity Railway Express (TRE), and ZIPZONE on-demand rideshare services will run on regular schedules. TRE Link and the CentrePort Circulator will also maintain their regular schedules. The Customer Care Kiosk will be closed; however, Customer Care phones at 817-215-8600 will be operational from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
