The Fort Worth Municipal Court will host a Court in the Community/Warrant Forgiveness event on Saturday, June 29, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Vivian J. Lincoln Library, located at 8829 McCart Ave.

The event is open to individuals with outstanding citations from the Fort Worth Municipal Court. Attendees can resolve their cases without fear of arrest and may be eligible for alternatives such as community service or fine reductions based on their ability to pay.

Court Director William Rumuly emphasized the court's commitment to providing options for resolving outstanding cases. "I encourage anyone who has an outstanding citation with the Fort Worth Municipal Court to contact us immediately so we can provide options to move those cases to a final resolution," Rumuly said. "We are a Safe Harbor Court, meaning we do not arrest persons who come voluntarily to see us on their outstanding cases."

Up to 120 people will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis for Class C criminal cases filed with the court, including traffic violations, ordinance violations, and penal code violations.

For more information or to register for the event, individuals can call 817-392-6700.
