The City of Fort Worth has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to identify a real estate brokerage firm to market and sell eight City-owned properties on Western Avenue and Carleton Avenue. This initiative is part of the Central Arlington Heights Property Acquisition and Drainage Improvements project.

The city aims to collectively sell these parcels in Central Arlington Heights for redevelopment above flood risk, incorporating greenspace that can be more effectively maintained and utilized by the community.

The RFQ seeks responses detailing firms' experience with similar projects, with a preference for those experienced in selling residential homes with redevelopment opportunities in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Copies of the Broker RFQ are available on the Arlington Heights webpage.

Responses to the broker qualification questions are due by August 9, 2024, at 5 p.m. Information about this opportunity has been shared with the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors, Society of Commercial Realtors, and brokers who have previously expressed interest.
