A new one-stop customer service hub is now open at City Hall, located at 100 Fort Worth Trail. Residents can visit the fifth-floor Customer Center between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with ample free parking available in front of the building.

The services offered include Development Services, water bill payments, water applications, and Central Cashier services. Additional departments such as Park & Recreation, Environmental Services, Transportation & Public Works, Neighborhood Services, and the Fire Department are also available to assist residents as needed.

The relocation of the Development Services Department consolidates all development-related services—such as building permits, trades, plats, infrastructure, zoning, water development, backflow prevention, and grease traps—into one location. Due to this consolidation, waiting areas on the fifth floor are limited. A new and simplified sign-in process has been established for customers seeking assistance with development projects.

Residents can contact customer service at 817-392-2222 for more information about these changes.

This move affects only certain services previously located at 908 Monroe St. In-person services from the lower level of Old City Hall have also been relocated to this new center.

The water customer contact center will continue operating from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., handling phone calls regarding account services. All other sections of the water utility housed in Old City Hall and surrounding buildings will remain in their current locations for the next few months.

Mayor Mattie Parker participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new Customer Center on the fifth floor of City Hall.
