The City of Fort Worth is set to host its annual Arbor Day event on Friday, November 1, at Log Cabin Village. The event will be held at 2100 Log Cabin Village Lane and is open to the public free of charge. It is organized by the Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department.
The day's activities will commence with an Arbor Day ceremony at 9:30 a.m. in the Foster House, located near the entrance of the village. Local officials will deliver opening remarks, followed by a reading of an Arbor Day proclamation. The ceremony will also include presentations of awards and announcements regarding new Fort Worth Heritage Trees.
After the ceremony, attendees are encouraged to explore Log Cabin Village at their own pace and participate in various activities designed for both children and adults.
