Fort Worth Municipal Court will host its first Warrant Forgiveness event of the year on January 25, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will take place at the A.D. Marshall Public Safety and Courts Building, located at 1000 Throckmorton St. downtown.

The event is open to individuals with outstanding citations issued by the Fort Worth Municipal Court. Attendees can appear without fear of arrest and may resolve their cases through options such as community service or reduced fines based on their ability to pay.

Up to 150 people can be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis for Class C criminal cases like traffic violations, ordinance violations, and penal code violations.

Court Director William Rumuly emphasized the court's commitment to providing solutions: “I encourage anyone who has an outstanding citation with the Fort Worth Municipal Court to contact us immediately so we can provide options to move those cases to a final resolution.” He also highlighted that "We are a Safe Harbor Court, meaning we do not arrest persons who come voluntarily to see us on their outstanding cases."

For further details about this initiative or other court-related information, individuals can call 817-392-6700 during business hours or visit online resources.
