Each year, neighborhood leaders, elected officials, area agencies, and city departments gather to share effective community engagement strategies. The Fort Worth Neighborhood Awards celebrate registered neighborhood associations for their efforts in revitalization, socialization, collaboration, health maintenance, and communication.
The upcoming Mayor’s Community Engagement Workshops & Neighborhood Awards 2024 will take place on March 1. It promises a day of community building, learning, and celebration. Registration is open with seats filling up quickly.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at Doxology Bible Church in Fort Worth, Texas, the event will begin with doors opening at 8:30 a.m., offering a continental breakfast and coffee bar. This provides an opportunity for participants to connect before engaging in workshops.
The morning will feature exhibits from 8:30 a.m. to noon and two workshop sessions from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The awards luncheon is set for noon to 2 p.m.
Attendees are advised to use the main entrance on the west side of the church for parking and follow signage for convenience.
This event aims to be an engaging experience essential to the success of this community initiative.
