Fort Worth Municipal Court will host a Court in the Community/Warrant Forgiveness event on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon at Diamond Hill Community Center, located at 1700 N.E. 37th St.

The event is aimed at individuals with outstanding citations issued by the Fort Worth Municipal Court. Attendees can resolve their cases without fear of arrest and may be eligible for alternatives such as community service or reduced fines based on their ability to pay.

Court Director William Rumuly emphasized the court's commitment to providing options for case resolution: "I encourage anyone who has an outstanding citation with the Fort Worth Municipal Court to contact us immediately so we can provide options to move those cases to a final resolution," he said. "We are a Safe Harbor Court, meaning we do not arrest persons who come voluntarily to see us on their outstanding cases."

Up to 120 people can be seen on a first-come, first-served basis for Class C criminal cases filed with the court, including traffic violations, ordinance violations, and penal code violations.

For more information about the event or other court-related inquiries, residents can call 817-392-6700 during business hours or visit the court's website.

A special emphasis will be placed on breast cancer awareness during the Oct. 5 event.
