The upcoming YardSmart conference offers an opportunity for individuals interested in gardening to expand their knowledge. This free, all-day event focuses on effective and beneficial methods for conserving water in landscaping and gardening.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 1, the conference will take place at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, located at 3220 Botanic Garden Blvd. It will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with check-in starting at 8:30 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early. Light refreshments will be available, and participants may come and go as they please.
The facility is accessible for those using wheelchairs. Sign language interpretation can be arranged by calling TDD 817-392-8544 at least 72 hours before the event.
In addition to informative sessions led by experts on topics such as building and maintaining bee hotels, raised beds, container gardening, and drip irrigation, guests will have the chance to shop from various eco-friendly vendors.
